The best drivers in the world fought fiercely in every race, providing competition and action that has never been equaled in any other race series.

 

Manufacturers knew that winning on Sunday meant sales on Monday, so the stakes were high. All the drivers knew what that meant -- and so did the fans. It was a great show!

Today, sometimes the original Trans Am drivers will come to our races. And, occasionally, one will race with us in his original car.

 

Other old-time racers come, too, as admiring rivals from other race series. We also get family members, workers, journalists, and former crew members who show up to visit with the cars and share personal memories.

 

 

And fans from the old days -- lots of fans -- bring stories of watching the same cars in their youth.
